Astypalea: Pera Gialos Astypalea

Pera Gialos (or Pera Yialos) Village Astypalea: Pera Gialos is more of a small, coastal settlement than a whole village. It is found in a walking distance from Chora and it is the most tourist developed part of Chora.

This is where most tourist facilities on the island are found, from hotels and rooms to let to cafeterias, taverns and beach bars. Its long and sandy beach make the area appealing to many tourists and locals, which make sure to keep Pera Gialos untouched by modern culture.
