Welcome to the Island of Tinos, Greece, Cyclades
Tinos Island is part of the group called Cyclades
and is located between the islands of Andros, Mykonos
and Syros. It is a beautiful and large place famous
for its huge Church of the Panagia (Virgin) which
attracts thousands of pilgrims on the 15th of August.
The area is also known for its many wonderful dovecotes
and for its astonishing sculptors and marble carvings.

area has many beautiful beaches. The beaches
are characterised by their particular colours.
The most famous is the red beach which is
composed of black and red volcanic rocks.
Other famous beaches are Perissa and Kamari
which are endless black sandy beaches.
