The climate in Syros is a typical Mediterranean climate with mild winters during which the temperatures rarely drop below 0 degrees. It is characterized by with rainfalls and dry summers with high temperatures, cooled by the “meltemia”, the north wind blowing from the end of July until the middle of August.
