General information

The picturesque fishing village of Kini in Syros is located close to Galissas. Kini is a famous tourist resort for its succulent seafood and fresh fish, magnificent sunsets with incredible harmony of colors, and fine views over the sea.

Kini Beach is one of the most popular beaches on the island, as it boasts a sandy coast and dazzling waters. During the summer, many boats moor at the small and quaint port located adjacent to the beach, creating a beautiful setting.

The village has a couple of beautiful churches and monasteries to see, too. The most interesting is the Monastery of Santa Barbara with a wonderful view of the village.
