Syros Villages: Galissas Village in Syros Galissas Village, Syros: Galissas is a west seaside touristy resort, at 8 kilometres from Ermoupolis, where the island’s only campsites are located. Rooms for rent and hotels can also be found, as well as cafes, bars, restaurants and taverns. The remains of a Venetian castle and the beautiful in-cave chapel of Agios Stephanos are worth visiting.
