Location: On the eastern side of the island

Description: Ano Syros is the highest quarter of Ermoupolis, the capital of the island. The two towns gradually expand to become one. Ano Syros distinguishes for its elegant architecture and the nice sea view.

Location: 9 km south west of Ermoupolis
Description: Among the most popular beaches on Syros, Galissas has sandy shore and shallow water. Many beach bars line the coast.
Location: 12 km south of Ermoupolis
Description: Megas Gialos is a lovely beach lined by many tourist facilities. It gets pretty popular in summer.
Location: 13 km south west of Ermoupolis
Description: This is a well organized beach with long sandy coast. It gets very busy in summer and offers a picturesque place to relax.

This impressive building houses the Town Hall of Ermoupolis and it is the trademark of the island. It was constructed in the Neoclassical architecture by Ernst Ziller, a famous architect in Greece. The Town Hall is located in Miaouli square.
:: Church Of Resurrection
The wonderful Church of Resurrection was built in 1870 on top of Vrodado Hill, above Ermoupolis and offers a terrific view of the neighbouring islands of Tinos and Mykonos.
