Syros Burgers
Burgers are generally very popular in Greece and each area has its own variety of how to make delicious burgers. Hereby we present you the burgers a la Syros.
Ingredients:
- 500 gr. minced meat
- 1 cup of evaporated milk
- 1-2 spoonfuls of olive oil
- 1-2 spoonfuls of white wine
- 1 or 2 dessertspoon of lemon juice
- 1 egg
- 2 slices of bread, peeled, watered and squashed
- 1 cup of water
- salt, pepper, oregano, some mustard, some minced cheese (salty and hard)
- 1 cup of crumbled rusk
- some pieces of tomatoes dried in the sun (optional)
Preparation:
Mold all the ingredients until they become a homogenate mixture. Shape it in small burgers, put them in a baking pan and put a small cheese slice on top of each one. You can also put some thick bechamel on top and two pepper strings. Bake in the oven at 200°.
