SYROS "the Noble
Lady of the Aegean",the capital of
Cyclades,being 82 miles from Piraeus,is
the first stop of the ships traveling to
the East and the South of the Cyclades as
well as to the islands of the East Aegean,the
Dodecanese and Crete.The traveling time
from Piraeus to SYROS varies from 2 1/2
to 4 1/2 hours depending on the speed of
the ship (8 services per day). There are
also 2 flights per day from the Athens airport
(El.Venizelos) to Syros.
