Sikinos Reviews -General

I have really nice memories from Sikinos as I first tried free camping there and I loved it since! We went there three summers ago by boat from Ios and stayed only two nights.

Calm Sikinos was a paradise after crowded Ios. Generally, I don't like big crowds but went to Ios following my friends. On the third day on Ios, me and my boyfriend packed our things and went on neighboring Sikinos to spend the last two days of our vacations.

We camped in the beach close to the port and could see the soft lights of Chora from there at night. Tried night swimming under the bright moon of August and woke up early because the sunlight awakened us. Aaaah, so romantic days! I miss them so much right now! Walking in Chora was also nice.

This is one of the most traditional Cycladic villages I have visited. Watch the sunset disappearing in the orange sea and eat ice cream. Such a romantic place for couples...
