Regular ferries connect Piraeus, the main port of Greece, to Sikinos island. The itineraries usually run three times a week and also connect Sikinos to other Aegean islands. The trip from Piraeus to Sikinos lasts for 11 hours.

Normal ferries also connect Sikinos to Anafi (4 hours), Folegandros (40 minutes), Ios (30 minutes), Kimolos (4 hours), Kythnos (8 hours), Milos (5 hours), Naxos (2 hours and a half), Paros (2 hours), Serifos (6 hours), Sifnos (5 hours) and Santorini (3 hours and a half).
