The Archaeological Museum of Sifnos is housed in a fine two-storey mansion in Kastro. It hosts statues from the 6th till the 1st century BC, ceramics and coins.
A small ecclesiastical museum is housed in the Monastery of Panagia Vrysiani, in close distance to Exabela. The museum exhibits clothes of priests, rare books and manuscripts, a gospel of the 18th century and Byzantine icons.

The Monastery of Prophet Elias Ipsilos is located on the highest peak of the island, at an altitude of 690 metres. The complex is surounded by walls, underground galleries, cells and rooms for the accommodation of visitors.
The small church of Seven Martyrs has been built on a rocky pensinsula right before the entrance to Kastro. Today, it has become the symbol of the whole island.
The Monastery of Panagia Chrissopigi is located on top of a small, rocky peninsula that is connected to the rest of the island with a small bridge. The monastery was established in 1650 and it is considered the protector of the island.
