Location: 3 km east of Apollonia
Description: Kastro, the old capital of Sifnos, is probably the most picturesque village on the island. Its symbol is a small chapel on the rocks right before the entrance to Kastro.

Description: Apollonia is the capital village of Sifnos. It stands along the slopes of a hill and provides amazing view to the sea. The architecture of Apollonia has an authentic Cycladic style.

Location: 8 km south east of Apollonia
Description: Located on the southern side of the island, the small peninsula of Chrissopigi is among the most picturesque beaches of Cyclades. A lovely monastery is built on the rocks in front of the beach.
Location: 9 km south of Apollonia
Description: This is a busy tourist resort with a long sandy beach and many facilities. Fish taverns and watersports line the beach.
Location: 10 km south west of Apollonia
Description: This is a actually a small bay with sandy shore and crystal water. The green environment creates a nice place to relax.

The small church of Seven Martyrs has been built on a rocky pensinsula right before the entrance to Kastro. Today, it has become the symbol of the whole island.
:: Monastery Of Chrissopigi
The Monastery of Panagia Chrissopigi is located on top of a small, rocky peninsula that is connected to the rest of the island with a small bridge. The monastery was established in 1650 and it is considered the protector of the island.
