The villages on Serifos have a traditional colour and follow the well-known Cycladic architecture with the whitewashed houses, the small picturesque chapels, and the windmills. Apart from the tourist coastal settlements, we recommend you to visit the less crowded mountainous villages, too. You shouldn't miss the chance to speak to the local people; they are willing to help the visitors and tell stories about their villages.
