Serifos Archaeological Museum: The Archaeological Museum of Serifos Cyclades

The Archaeological Museum of Serifos Greece, Cyclades: The Archaeological Museum of Serifos is housed in the Town Hall of Serifos, in Piatsa Square, Ano Chora. The Neoclassical building of the Town Hall hosts this small but interesting archaeological collection of Serifos. The exhibits include findings from excavations all over the island and the surrrounding seabed. These findings date from the Classic, the post Hellenistic and the Roman times. They include funerary stylae, marble statuettes, vessels, part of armours, inscriptions and other pieces depicting the history of this Cycladic island.
