However, many people avoid including Serifos in their tours or excursions through the Cyclades because of the barren look it has from the sea, to the point that the rocky coastline makes it look inhabited. But those who give Serifos a chance, discover a whole different place once the ferry takes them to Livadi bay. This area has a beach with pine-tree surrounding and offers some taverns, cafes and tourist accommodation.
In fact, Livadi is the place with the most tourist facilities -including a bank, supermarkets and a gas station, apart from shops.
