Cyclades are a group of islands located in the middle of the Aegean Sea. From the point of view of administration and government they are a prefecture belonging to Meridian Aegean.
This group comprehends about two hundred and twenty islands, being the main ones – sorted from the biggest in extension - Naxos, Andros, Paros, Tinos, Milos, Kea, Amorgos, Ios, Kythnos, Mykonos, Syros, Santorini, Serifos, Sifnos, Síkinos and Anafi.
