Psili Ammos Beach Schinoussa: Psili Ammos beach is the jewel of Schinousa Island. It is located in a small remoted bay to the north-east of Chora, about 30 minutes walk away.

It features unspoilt turquoise blue waters that sparkle under the brilliant sun, tranquil sandy shores and little shade resulting from a few tamarisks. The water actually reaches the top of nearby hills at some places. Psili Ammos is popular among visitors due to its absolutely breathtaking beauty. A gorgeous sand dune travels down to meet the sandy beach.
 
To reach Psili Ammos, head north towards Messaria till you reach a signpost to the east. From there onwards it is less than 30 minutes of walking. Though the beach is beautiful and popular it is seldom crowded. So you can swim in the refreshing blue waves and relax under the shade of the few tamarisk trees at your own pace. The fine, grained sandy beach is cut by a few grey rocks.
