Given the fact that the original archaeological site at Akrotiri has been down with repair and restoration since the year 2005, the launch of this innovative 3D Virtual Reality Tour has been greatly appreciated by the scientific community worldwide. In fact, visitors who come out of the Tour are impressed by the sheer enormity of what they had seen inside the museum.
Apart from the 3D Virtual Reality Tour of Akrotiri, visitors also have the option of embarking on a one-of-its-kind Photographic Tour that artistically portrays the ancient Akrotiri excavation site through a series of photographs arranged chronologically for the benefit of the discerning visitors of the Center.
