Santorini Athinios Port is the principal port of Santorini and no wonderit’s very busy. Both passenger ferries and cargo ships ply regularly from this port. If you have the inclination to go island hopping, you need to embark on a boat or ferry from Athinios Port.

There are boat tours that will take you to Nea Kameni, Paleo Kameni as well as Thirassia. There are a few cafes and quaint markets that serve the passengers who disembark here. Athinios is also very well connected with Fira via regular bus and car services.
