Santorini Folklore Museum: The Folklore Museum is surprisingly located in an old cave house that dates back to 1861. This one-of-its-kind museum showcases a matured winery along with priceless artifacts made by indigenous carpenters and tinsmiths. The museum also boasts of a well stocked library with numerous books and manuscripts of the Aegean world. This impressive museum is the brainchild of Manolis Lignos and it is in many ways a perfect replica of a quintessential Santorini village.

There is also a chapel inside – the Chapel of Agios Konstantinos and a visit to this chapel will provide fascinating insight to the wonderful church heritage of Santorini.

The Folklore Museum is not as popular as the other Museums of Santorini. Somehow, this museum has remained under-publicized in the tourist brochures and pamphlets. Also, it is a

The Folklore Museum is open everyday of the week from 10.00 - 14.00 & 18.00 - 20.00.
