Santorini Review:
We trully and honestly loved Santorini. The caldera is beautiful, the people friendly and helpful. We had so much fun!! The meals we had on Santorini were excellent, even the quick pita gyro we grabbed on the street. We also loved drinking wine and watching the sunset from the Santos Winery. I think the authorities have done a good job trying to maintain the character of the island while accomodating this large numbers of tourists. I would have been disappointed if there had been a lot of international fast food or chain stores. One thing that might help visitors with shopping on Santorini would be to facilitate easy and inexpensive shipping from the island. That would encourage tourists to shop more and help them get around stricter baggage weight requirements.
