Unique, incredible landscapes but expensive

The trip: We arrived to Santorini Island from Naxos by boat. The trip was really pleasant. It was crowded by we managed to have some seats. The landscapes while arriving on Santorini are amazing.
Reasons for going to Santorini: I had a positive report from friends saying it was the best Greek Island and also a steping stone to Athens. I checked Santorini and also other parts of Greece on the net and Santorini looked really amazing.
Idea before arriving: The Santorini would be expensive, fun and beautiful.
Expectations and opinions: Yes, it is all of the above. The trip costs us much but I really think it was worthing it. It was my best holidays ever. The island is really incredible. The landscapes are unique and it is really amazing when you think that you are on the crater of a volcano. The villages are extremely charming and offer some views that you whish to have from your own house back at home :) You never get bored of the views and the walks in the villages. The most beautiful village was Oia and had an extremely beautiful sunset. The people, both locals and tourist, are all in good mood and we met a lot of people. The food there is also really good but sometimes really expensive too. You pay for the restaurant's views and not food!! There also some nice clubs (Enigma).
Favorite thing about Santorini: The relaxed vibe, the beauty of the island and the very friendly people.
Negative opinion: Not much but the prices. It is expensive for a Greek Island. If this island was part of a country like France, it would be as expensive as Cannes!!!
Recommendations: Just be prepared to pay a bit more but you won't regret a second of your stay. If you have the budget, book a hotel with a view over the volcano.
I really enjoyed my stay and wish to go back there soon!
