The trip to Santorini: We took a flight from Paris and then a regular ferry from the port of Mykonos. The trip was good without any delay.
Reasons for going to Santorini: I was looking for a holiday destination in Greece and saw the pictures of the island of Santorini on the internet.
Idea before arriving: Was impressed by the scenery and wanted to see that by myself. I was waiting for a charming/spectacular place. I knew that the weather would be great and that the Santorini Sunset is known all over the world.
Expectations and opinions: Yes, it met my expectations. I really loved this island. I had never been to Greece before and was a great experience.

- Landscapes: 10/10 Really spectacular. Was really impressed when looking at the cliffs from the ferry.
- Tree Covered: 0/10 No one single tree
- Beaches & waters: 6/10 The beaches are good and very original. Black sand and very hot also. There is also a red one which must be the most spectacular one. Surrounded by red cliffs.
- Cleanliness: 8/10
- Villages: 9/10 Main Town: 8/10 The walks in the village are really nice and offer great views over the volcano. The prices in the villages is sometimes very high. Especialy for dining.
- Food/ restaurants: 6/10 Sometimes expensive
- Nightlife: 8/10 Nice bars and clubs.
- Local people: 9/10 Very kind people. Some are really rude as in any part of the world. Taxi drivers are crazy.
- Accommodation: 7/10 Nice hotel with great views over the sea and the Santorini Sunset.
- Activities 6/10 Sightseeing: 8/10 There are some really interesting tours and museums.
- Prices: 5/10 Like most of the cosmopolitan places of the world. What would someone expect? It is one of the top5 destinations in the world.
- Public Transportations: -/10 Never Used. I rent a car and it was great. But I saw public buses all the time.
- Authenticity 7/10 Santorini is a touristy industry in an authentic place. Modern confort in authentic areas and architecture
- Peace & quiet 7/10 No much people
- Weather 10/10 Incredible weather.

Favorite thing about Santorini: I really enjoyed the island. It worth its reputation. The most beautiful thing was dinning in excellent restaurants and looking at the beautiful Santorin sunset.

Negative opinion: The prices are very high but as I was writting before, com'on, why did you choose to go to one of the cosmopolitan areas of the world?
Recommendations: If you are looking for good value for money then I suppose that there are also many other islands. I saw many people just staying at there hotel. It's a shame. Take a car and go discover. Get richer in experiences.

I really liked Santorini but don't think I will go again. I try to only go once to places. The world is huge. There are so many things to see.
