The trip: I got to Santorini Island by plane (Olympic Airways) from Paris to Athens and then Athens to Paris. We made 45 minutes from Athens. The trip was good even if there were 2 hours delay at Paris.
Reasons for going to Santorini: The island was recommended to me by friends and pictures of the island were really attractive.
Idea before arriving: Except from some pictures I saw on the internet I didn't really knew what to expect.
Expectations and opinions: Yes, it met my expectations. It is a really incredible island.

- Prices: 6/10 A bit pricey in Fira and Oia for the view + rent a quad at 20 Euros/day is too expensive!!!

The island is quite busy but everything is well organised. We had a very good contact with the greeks and this was a very nice stay in Santorini which is a beautiful island.

Favorite thing about Santorini: Incredible view on the caldera from Fira! Excellent welcome from local people, very good food, quiet south and north out of big cities.
Best village: Karterados and Fira
Best restaurant: Cyclades in Perissa and Jerry's in Karterados
Negative opinion: We didn't like to pay 2 Euros/persone to climb on the volcano. As we already pay for the trip in boat we feel like lemons been sqeezed again. The price we pay to go to the volcano should be "All uncluded"
Recommendations: Take the time to visit all of the island, the North and also the south

I will maybe go back to Santorini because we like to discover different places and not to go at the same place vevery year.
