Santorini is a wonderful place. Although it is actually selling its beauty, still worth to go. The sunset is indeed nice, but I prefered sunset from Imerovigli than Oia, probably because it was less crowded. I can't tell for clubs because I was not interested in the nightlife. Santorini is not the place to come for nightclubbing, please don't try to make it one!
Historical sites were wonderful but I was very disappointed that Akrotiri was closed. Service in taverns was excellent, however prices are now equivalent to mainland Northern Europe.
Make improvements to the bus services and discourage car/motorcycle rental - traffic is quite terrible around Fira, for a lightly populated island. If there were frequent buses to more destinations (including beaches), then you don't really need a car - charge more money per ticket since the buses are cheap compared to food and accomodation.
Better access to sea level from the cliff-top towns would be great. With such a beautiful natural bay, it is a shame there are not smaller boating trips and sailing boat rentals.
