One of the most spectacular places I ever been

The trip: We arrived on the island of Santorini from Athens with Olympic airlines. The trip was quick and fine.
Reasons for going to Santorini: We already know the island of Santorini as we have came in Greece for many summer holidays. The island is really great and is one of the islands we enjoy the most.
Idea before arriving: Our first visit was in 1984. The island has changed somewhat but still very very charming.
Expectations and opinions: Yes, the island met our expactations again and will propably meet them again. Santorini is a unique place. It must be one of the most spectacular places I ever been. The views there are gorgeous. And having a hotel's room with a view over the volcano is the ultimate luxury. The village are extraordinary and I really enjoy walking arround. The island is very touristy but is still very very charming. There are also all kind of restaurants and what a pleasure to have a good wine while viewing the sunset... really great experiences there... We will definitely return!
Favorite thing about Santorini: The villages of Oia, Megalohori, the beach of Perissa...
Negative opinion: Many amaricans like us. Don't want to see the same people I see everyday while on holidays on the other side of the globe.
Recommendations: Just go to Santorini.. It was voted last year as the second best destination in the world! And there is a good reason for that. It is extraordinary.
Yes, I will go back there! That is 100% sure!!!
