The trip: I got to Santorini Island by plane. We took British Airways from Detroit USA and then the Aegean Airline from London. The trip was very good but also very long: more than 20 hours. There were no delay.
Reasons for going to Santorini: We wanted to visit Greek ISlands so sought out the travel agent.
Idea before arriving: We had researched on the internet and books. It really looked amazing and spectacular. I noticed that one guide was saying that Santorini is an island with character.
Expectations and opinions: Yes, it met our expectations. It is a great island.

Favorite thing about Santorini: The whole atmosphere, the views, the sunset, the traditional villages, the trip to the Caldera, Volcano Island, Thirasia island and Oia.
Favourite restaurants: Stani in Fira and Palicanos in Oia.
Negative opinion: No, no negative opinion. We loved Santorini!
Recommendations: Be aware you have to be very fit to climb up many hills and steps. No elevators in hotels.

We will definitely go back to Santorini. We really loved this island and we recommend it to everybody.
