A great and relaxing experience

The trip: We came to Greece by plane from Paris and then took the ferry. We have planed to visit 3 islands. Santorini was our last stop after Paros and Mykonos.
Reasons for going to Santorini: The island of Santorini is known for its beauty and its picturesque sceneries. The island is world famous and is considered to be the must concerning "Greek Islands".
Idea before arriving: We didn't had any particular idea. We had seen many pictures in books, travel guides and internet but there were like postcard pictures. They are not always the truth. They show only one part of the reality.
We had already seen Paros and Mykonos so we had am idea of what a Cycladic island was looking like. Of course every island had its particularities and we were just wwaiting to discover those of Santorini Island.
Expectations and opinions: Yes, it met our expectations. The island is really beautiful. The beaches are great, the food is good and and the girls are beautiful. It confirms the pictures we had seen of the island.
Favorite thing about Santorini: The discovery of beautiful landscapes and my contact with the Greek people who are incredible kind and helpful.
Negative opinion: Maybe some buildings are not respecting the Cycladic standards. And the should give more information about the history of the island.
Recommendations: For french people: Learn to speaEnglish cause the french is inexistant on the island.
Yes, I would love to return to Santorini and to the other Greek islands too. Our journey was a great and relaxing experience and I think I will go back again next year. Maybe for next year try to find some less touristy islands.
