Santorini Trekking

Trekking on Santorini: Santorini is especially known for its natural beauty. This island is ideal for nature lovers and offers a lot of amazing paths to do some trekking. The whole island has a lot of beauties for the visitors, from wild, volcanic landscapes to picturesque villages and lovely churches in the countryside. Trekking is a great way to get to know the island in a more special way. As the trekking routes on Santorini are generally not long and vary in difficulty, everyone can try.

The trip from Fira to the Old Port and back is the more common trekking route and very easy to access, although the route is going up. This route offers beautiful views and doesn’t last for more than 15 minutes. The route from Fira to Oia is another light trek, although it is much longer, a little more than an hour. This trek passes though Firostefani, Imerovigli, Vourvoulos and many other picturesque settlements. The beautiful beach of Ammoudi is found at the end of the trek, where you can swim and rest.
