Villas Caldera's Lilium

Santorini Review:
Although not in the heart of Fira, Caldera Lilium is a short flat walk from Fira in the opposite direction from Oia. The accommodation is sited on the edge of the caldera without the many steps as found in Fira and Oia. Caldera Lilium staff are wonderful and very obliging. The property looks very upmarket with plenty of room around the pool (a rarity if staying on the edge of the caldera). The rooms are large and comfortable with all the expected amenities (if I must be critical then the rooms, although fine, could maybe do with an update to match the exterior). We had a wonderful roomy balcony which afforded us fantastic, uninterrupted views of the sunset, that in itself was heaven. I think Santorini is my favourite of the few Greek Islands I have seen and I look forward to returning to Caldera Lillium in the next couple of years for another relaxing week. We were on Santorini during May before the summer rush and the weather was mild and very relaxing.
