More about: Santorini island
Nationality: American
Age: 27

The trip: I arrived on the island of Santorini by airplane and the trip was fine.
Reasons for going to Santorini: I had heard much about its beauty.
Idea before arriving: Relaxing, nice weather, pretty scenery
Expectations and opinions: It really met my expectations except from the beaches. It is a beautiful island but there are too much steps. You must be a high level athlete to get arround the villages! But it worth it. The villages are amazing. An other problem is that streets have no names. So it is difficult to find anything. The beach were also disapointing. I am used to beaches with soft sand. Concerning the food, I wish there were a few options besides Greek food.
Favorite thing about Santorini: The spectacular views and weather
Negative opinion: The steps!!!
Recommendations: Just visit it. It worth the travel!

I will maybe go back there. For the moment the next trip will be to Mykonos Greece in order to discover the nightlife.
