Great but expensive experience

The trip: Luftansa - Flight via Athens to Mykonos and then ferry to Santorini
Reasons for going to Santorini: I went first to Mykonos as it is a gay destination and then went to Santorini for its beauty. It was also recommended by friends.
Idea before arriving: I thought that Santorini was one of the most impressive place I would ever see. Typical way of life, greek food & seafood (calamari), beautiful beaches, sexy dark men, friendly people, sunshine, ancient history and ruins.
Expectations and opinions: It met my expectations except that the way of life is not as typical as I imagined. We see that people are veru modern and European. The island is also very expensive! And the beaches are much more beautiful on Mykonos.
Favorite thing about Santorini: It is a very cosmopolitan island and enjoyed much meeting people from all over Europe. The sunsets! There are amazing. The views over the volcano, etc... and the Greek Salad.
Negative opinion: Overcooked fish. Thought that there would more sea food.
I will definitely go back to Greece and definitely on Mykonos. I don't know if I will return to Santorini as I would like to see more of the Cyclades.
