Red beach was very dirty. There was no rubbish bins and nothing there to sit on like most of the other beaches. I did not mind the walk down to the beach but was disappointed when I got there. This is definitely a beach to come see - but be prepared. Access to the beach is via a fairly rough, steep trail with precipitous drop-offs. We used to swim in Kamari beach while we were on holidays on Santorini because it was close to our hotel. My wife and me were in Santorini last october07 and in Kolumbos Beach was the most indicate beach to naturists in the island. We've also been naked all morning as in Vlichada where only one single man was there. For us if asked suggest Kolumbus for this kind of lifestyle.
