 A new ferry line started on June 19th between the port of Rafina and Santorini. Flying Car 3 by Hellenic Seaways is running the route from Rafina to Santorini through other popular Greek islands and in particular Syros, Mykonos, Naxos and Ios. The route will be held every day. The ship departs at 7.30 a.m. from Rafina and arrives in Santorini at noon, while it also returns, departing from Santorini at 12.20 and arriving at 17.10 in Rafina.
This route will not only serve the permament inhabitants who live in northern Athens but it will also serve a lot the tourists that land on the International Airport of Athens. Note that the port of Rafina is only half an hour by bus from the airport, while it needs about an hour to go to the port of Piraeus.
