Till the 7th of July 2009 hundreds of natural monuments will be voted all over the globe in www.new7wonders.com for the worldwide nomination of the 7 Wonders of Nature.

Santorini and the famous Caldera of the volcano is one of the candidates! Along with Meteora, Olympus Mountain and the Petrified Forest of Lesvos they constitute the Greek candidates for the competition.
