The Greek island of Santorini celebrated its annual Fishermen Festival on September, 19th at the charming fishing port of Vlihada. Plenty of free wine flew and fresh fish and other food dishes were available for everybody at the festival venue.
As usual, there was much dancing and revelry to the accompaniment of traditional Santorini music played by a local band. The wine at the fiesta was offered by Mr Koutsogiannopoulos, owner of the Volcan Wines business. The President of the Santorini Fishermen Union, Mr Kyriakos, organized once more this vibrant festival. Local and tourists were free to join the festival and they were welcomed with open arms by the friendly fisherman of Santorini.
