My name is Tony and I’m a 25 years old Australian. I have been to about 5 countries and I’m about to tell you about my visit to Santorini island.
The island was really good, and while I was there, I saw an ad about a tour to the Volcano of Santorini, the Hot Springs and Thirasia. So I decided to go.
The departure was at 10:30 AM at a very easy point to find. We left on time and started the day with a really warm welcome. We used a caique which is a traditional boat and sailed to our destination.
The trip was not crowded, in fact it was very comfortable and I enjoyed the ambiance of it, but we weren’t offered any food or drinks.
The tour included a guide who was explaining everything in Greek, French and English and I could say they spoke it pretty clear. All of our questions were answered of course, because the staff was extremely polite and professional.
We visited the volcano on the island, stopped for swimming at the Hot Springs and also went to another island called Thirasia where we had lunch. The passengers were dropped off at Oia. I enjoyed very much the swimming at the Hot Springs and I was very impressed by he craters of the active volcano.
The tour took us about 6 hours and as I’ve never been to similar tours I really enjoyed this. I would definitely recommend this tour to others, because of everything and also about the money that was pretty good.
