General Information:
Counted among the top restaurants in Santorini, the Selene offers menus with a variety of plates, and in the owner, George Haziyannakis' own words, to highlight what he calls the "creative nature of Greek cuisine."
The restaurant used to be located in Fira but was now relocated in the quiet village of Pyrgos. From appetizers like sea urchins, salad, or fava balls in caper sauce, to entrees like brodero, or veggie treats made from produce grown in the unique volcanic ecosystem, the menu of Selene is an innovative form of the traditional Greek cuisine. The restaurant affords magnificent views of the mountains and the sea.
For those who want to learn the art of cooking, Selene Restaurant has been offering cooking courses to the public for the last ten years. There are different types of courses on offer: a one- day course, a three-day course as well as a wine course, which is all about wine and menu tasting.
