General Information:
Kallisti Restaurant is located in Pyrgos, a mountain village. The restaurant has a charming terrace and the theme is local. There is lots of shade and, thankfully, the place does not get too crowded, even in peak season.
The cuisine is traditional Greek, and some of the popular dishes on the menu include chicken souvlaki and fresh grilled chicken, tomatokeftedes (tomato balls), as well as beef and lamb casseroles. As in most tavernas in the interior villages of Santorini, the prices are a welcome change as compared to the restaurants in Fira, Oia, or Firostefani. Kallisti is located right next to the bus station in Pyrgos.
