Tis Pandoras Restaurant / Tavern is located right on the waterfront of Ammoudi, a tiny charming port in the caldera at the foot of Oia. The small family-style restaurant offers traditional Greek cuisine and fresh sea food.
Most people, who take a dip in the cliff side beach of Ammoudi, work up quite an appetite and take a short walk from the cove to Tis Pandoras to grab a bite or to have a pleasant dinner. The tables are right by the sea with views to the sea and the rocky hills. The menu is a twist to traditional cuisine but some of the popular Greek dishes served at Tis Pandoras retain much of their original form and flavor.
Popular appetizers include garidakia (deep fried shrimp) and octopus in vinegar, while the stuffed kalamari is a specialty item on the main course. As in most taverns, pricing is reasonable.
