General Information:
Ouzeri is located in the heart of Fira, the capital and most beautiful village in Santorini which affords a fantastic panorama of the volcano. The restaurant has both indoor and outdoor dining options. Many couples also choose the terrace of Ouzeri as a venue for their wedding dinner and the restaurant caters to everything right down to the minutest detail.
The prices are reasonable as compared to many other restaurants in the area with similar views. Some of the tables have a great view of the side away from the volcano.
The cuisine is typical Greek and local dishes constitute the menu. A variety of hot and cold appetizers, such as fava and dolmades, or perhaps, the highly popular grilled calamari is on the list of popular starters. Some of the dishes on the Ouzeri menu that come highly recommended include the Manouri Ouzeri (sesame seed-coated manouri cheese fried and served with a sweet cherry sauce), succulent slow-cooked lamb, risotto with ouzo, meat balls in ouzo, and baklava, the rich traditional sweet of Turkish origin.
