The National Airport of Santorini is connected to most international airports through charter flights. Many international companies fly to Santorini, including the popular low-cost European air company Easy Jet.
Santorini is also connected to the Airports of Athens and Thessaloniki and the itineraries become more regular in summer. The flight time from Athens to Santorini is about 45 minutes and from Thessaloniki to Santorini about 1 hour and a half.
Outside the terminal, there are buses and taxis to get you to your accomodation. The airport of Santorini is situated 8 km far from Fira, the capital of the island, in the region of Monolithos. |
