From the first glance into the glittering and glimmering far-away-mirror of the sea deep below her, with the first sunrise among the cliffs of the Caldera beneath her, the young and romantic German writer, Nina Keller, took the first step into a dream vision: To stay in the enchanting spectacle of light through out the day, to nestle into the quieteness of shining moonlights, to stay and make other people like her stay-coming from the cities of a modern world, falling in love with the images and the thougths about the aegean world of other writers like Elytis, Durrell, Katzanzakis, with a knowledge of Atlantis myth, said to be Santorini, the Jewel under all Greek island beauties, unique as creation of the volcano designed in her halfmoon shape about 3.500 years ago... Out of myth, out of light and sea a dream was born: to build up a hospitable spot for romantic travellers, for dreamers, for people in love.... Over the years this early vision found its form of perfection: Her Oia Village Hotel complex high on the Caldera cliff of Oia. 23 houses, most of them sculptured into the cliff some centuries ago as Santirinians used to build their homes, cave houses. Today all the cave villas have been rebuilt in timeless ambience of mystery in nature and with contemporary comforts, each one in it's own individual style,with tastefully selected colours decors. OIA VILLAGE Hotel is situated like an amphitheatre in a spacious bend of the Oia Caldera, looking freely to the sea, the volcanic islands and the multicoloured cliffs and rocks of the Santorini atoll-dyed by the golden surise, by the glowing red sunset.
