Guestbook of Villa Lukas Apartment

Last summer (July 2011) chose to stay with my wife on the fifth anniversary of our marriage to the beautiful Santorini and at Villa Lukas. The view from the room was amazing. Watched the famous and dreamy sunsets from our balcony every evening. The place was very clean and the rooms too, which are cleaned thoroughly every day. Wonderful friendly and helpful staff. We stayed in a very beautiful studio and was beautifully decorated with special Greek island style with a unique look and feel. We spent hours sitting on our balcony and watching the magnificent views. The Imerovigli is very quiet village and has not many people with Oia or Fira, but has well equipped supermarket and some nice restaurants nearby. Im vergangenen Sommer (Juli 2011) wählte, um mit meiner Frau am fünften Jahrestag unserer Hochzeit mit der schönen Santorini und in der Villa Lukas zu bleiben. Der Blick aus dem Zimmer war unglaublich. Beobachtete die berühmten und traumhaften Sonnenuntergänge von unserem Balkon jeden Abend. Das Hotel war sehr sauber und die Zimmer auch, welche jeden Tag gründlich gereinigt werden. Wunderbar freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal. Wir waren in einem sehr schönen Studio war wunderschön und mit besonderen griechischen Insel Stil mit einer einzigartigen Look and Feel gestaltet. Wir verbrachten Stunden auf unserem Balkon sitzen und beobachten Sie die herrliche Aussicht. Die Imerovigli ist sehr ruhiges Dorf und hat nicht viele Leute mit Oia oder Fira, hat aber auch Supermarkt und ein paar nette Restaurants in der Nähe ausgestattet. We spent 1 week this summer at Villa Lukas at Imerovigli, in the island of Santorini. We picked the place literally at random after we got allured from the pictures we saw in a travel magazine and the hotel’s web site. Immediately after, we called the hotel to make a reservation and we surprisingly found out that the owner Mr. Lukas were extremely nice and professional man. Santorini is primarily famous of the caldera view as opposed to its beaches, so a room with a great view to the caldera is a must in this island. The access to the hotel was very easy. It is located at the top of the hill, so it is only few steps from the village road and across from a mini market, but very quiet. The room was large enough for 2 people, very clean and nicely decorated with a full kitchen bar, dining table and a sofa. However, the best asset of the room was the terrace in front of it with the magnificent view to the Caldera the Volcano and the breathtaking Sunset. There are no appropriate words to describe the view from our room. Overall, we found “Villa Lukas” to be a great place that made us have an unforgettable vacation week in Santorini. The place is not the typical 5-star glamorous hotel, in the sense that there is no pool, Jacuzzi, or butler service. But if you are looking for a nice and neat place with great view at a very reasonable price, I believe that Villa Lukas ranks at the top among all other places you can find (and saw) in Santorini. Closing, I should also mention another nice impression we got from the place. Mr. Lukas was kind enough to provide us with all info regarding the best places for dining or finding our way in the island. In this way we had the opportunity we see all nice places over the island. We felt in love with Santorini the first time we have been on the island. For us it is the most beautiful island because due to its geological history Santorini is unique. And the best place to stay on the island is Imerovigli. This village is situated at the highest point of the crater΄s rim, located in footwalking distance from the very touristic capital Fira. It still has remained its original character, it is peaceful and calm and therefore an ideal place for people who seek rest and recreation.
And one of the most beautiful places to stay in Imerovigli is Villa Lukas.
We discovered the place some years ago and we were very happy that we had the chance to stay this year the first week of October in one of the studios in Villa Lukas again. We have been in studio no. 2 which consists of a big comfortable sleeping-room, a kitchen which is small but has got everything you need for a short holiday, a small bathroom and a big balcony. Everything is very clean and tidy.
From the balcony you have a very spectacular view of nearly the whole caldera with the opposite island Thirassia and to the right you can see the whole northern coast of Santorini with Oia at the edge. Sitting there in the evenings watching the marvelous sunsets is very emotional touching you very deep in your heart.
But in autumn after sunset and also in the early morning hours it can become rather chilly so that you have to wear a sweater or jacket.
The owner Mr. Lukas is very kind, very helpful and will do everything he can to make you feel comfortable. Moreover, the prices are reasonable.
So we can highly recommend this place and we are sure everybody who has been there once wishes to come back some day.

Wij zijn nu zo'n 5 keer in Villa Lukas geweest en telkens is het weer opnieuw thuiskomen. Enerzijds door de fantastische ligging en de mooie kamers/apartementen en anderzijds door de hartelijke eigenaren Lukas en Poppy. Daarnaast is Villa Lukas relatief gunstig in prijs vergeleken bij alle accommodatie die er omheen ligt. Het gemis van een zwembad wordt goed gemaakt door het gebruik mogen maken van het zwembad van de buren.
De acommodatie is zeer liefdevol ingericht en het uitzicht is onnavolgbaar. Je kunt uren zitten en kijken. Dat glaasje wijn wat daar bij hoort koop je gewoon bij de supermarkt boven aan de trap. Imerovigli ligt op loopafstand van Thira, dat te bereiken is met een prachtige wandeling over de Caldera. Imerovigli heeft een aantal goede restaurants. Over het geheel genomen is de prijs/kwaliteitverhouding veel beter dan in Thira. Santorini blijft echter een duur eiland, maar je krijgt er ook wel wat voor terug.
Dus aanrader, zowel het eiland als villa Lukas....

"A unforgettable dream"
Now three months have passed since I visited Santorini. I lived a dream with my girlfriend from Germany. We had booked a studio at Villa Lukas. The emotion and the experienced, was very big and strong from what we saw and lived. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. Each room has a balcony. We sat and enjoyed the spectacular view of the Caldera, the Volcano and towards us all the surrounding small islands. In the afternoon we watched endless hours of the sunset from our balcony in a tranquil and calm environment. Is are still in our minds and our hearts. No need to say more words. Go and you my friends to live. Worth much. And then you have to you remember too much... Marc and Elizabeth from Italy.

Ora tre mesi sono passati da quando ho visitato Santorini. Ho vissuto un sogno con la mia ragazza dalla Germania. Avevamo prenotato un monolocale a Villa Lukas. L'emozione e il vissuto, era troppo grande e potente di quello che abbiamo visto e vissuto. Le camere sono molto pulite e confortevoli. Ogni camera ha un balcone. Ci siamo seduti e apprezzato la vista mozzafiato del vulcano Caldera, e di fronte le isole circostanti. Nel pomeriggio abbiamo visto infinite ore del tramonto dal nostro balcone, in un ambiente tranquillo e silenzioso. E 'ancora nelle nostre menti ei nostri cuori. Non c'è bisogno di dire più parole. Andare a vivere e si. Vale molto. E poi si

Jetzt 3 Monate sind vergangen, seit ich Santorini besuchte. Ich lebte einen Traum mit meiner Freundin aus Deutschland. Wir hatten ein Studio in der Villa Lukas gebucht. Die Emotion und die Erfahrung, war es zu groß und mächtig als das, was wir gesehen und gelebt wird. Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber und komfortabel. Jedes Zimmer hat einen Balkon. Wir saßen da und genossen die atemberaubende Aussicht auf die Caldera, den Vulkan und gegenüber den umliegenden Inseln. Am Nachmittag sahen wir endlose Stunden des Sonnenuntergangs von unserem Balkon in einem ruhigen und ruhigen Umgebung. Es ist immer noch in unseren Köpfen und unseren Herzen.
