Guestbook of Villa Lukas Apartment

Words can not describe (not even in Greek) the magic and mystery of our time on Santorini Island, thanks to the extraordinary accommodations and ambiance of Villa Lukas. We were so moved by our first visit, we returned two years later and booked the same rooms!

The only word that comes to mind when we think of Villa Lukas, and we think about our days there all of the time, is "Perfection"! Everything about the Villa is as close to perfection as one can experience on earth: peace and tranquility, privacy, cleanliness, respectful yet warm and friendly hosts (including the housekeeper), a stunning view, breathtaking sunsets from your semiprivate balcony, romance, comfortable and tasteful rooms and more. When you return to the Villa following a wonderful but tiring day experiencing the sights and sounds of Santorini, you feel like you are home (only better)

Whatever one's mental picture of Santorini may be, Villa Lukas makes it "picture perfect"!

We celebrated our 10th anniversary there and can't wait to go back. We want to share the secret with all of our friends...and have already.

Villa Lucas on the island of Santorini is a gem of a retreat from the rat race. I spent 14 days at this charming friendly, family run villa, and could have stayed forever. Being well taken care of and waking up to such breathtaking view was all I needed to shake away the stresses of life.
The family Lucas are such wonderful friendly warm people that I hope to be with them again next year.

Όλοι μαζί μια καταπληκτική ομάδα σε ένα τέλειο περιβάλλον στο Ημεροβίγλι με ηλιοβασίλεμα από τα μπαλκόνια που τύφλα να έχει η Οία....
Με καταπληκτική θέα και όχι μόνο...
Φίλε Λουκά πήρα χθές το μήνυμά σου στο κινητό μου και ομολογώ ότι με συγκίνησες....
Σ ευχαριστούμε τόσο εγώ όσο και η Αρετή για την αξέχαστη εβδομάδα...
Να είσαι σίγουρος 'οτι οι δρόμοι μας και πάλι θα ανταμώσουν στην μαγευτική Σαντορίνη...

Summer of 2006 we spent 1 week at
Villa Lukas and it was the most amazing vacation we ever had. Each year we visit Greece to see family but this was our first trip to Santorini. We rented the room via the internet and when we arrived it was everything they said and more. The room was beautiful and spotless, decorated in true Greek fashion. The view was breath taking and the hospitality of Popi and Lukas were the best. This place is close to everything and Popi and Lukas were alway helpful on suggesting were to go and what to see. We are planning another trip to Santorini and there is no other place that we would stay but here!

It was our most wonderful holiday on Santorini island where we had a wonderful week's break last year! I booked the accommodation direct with Villa Lukas through internet. Remembering that the price was so reasonable, you would be hard pressed to find anywhere better. The room was quite comfortable and really amazing with a so nice decoration. It was also very clean, had amazing views from the verandas, and some very nice touches of colour besides the traditional whitewash cube look (without being over the top). The owner, Poppy and her family couldn't do more for us, they were so friendly, and the daily cleaner always left the place gleaming! As other people have said, Thira/Im'igli & Ia can be awkward due to the clifftop location and subsequent steeply stepped access to accommodation...however Villa Lukas is at the top, so you're only a few steps away from the front gate.
All in all we had a great time, and would highly recommend Villa Lukas for a place to stay.
