I have been coming to Paros for over 30 years. Parikia is a fantastic town, with everything you need for a great holiday. Brilliant Restaurants (Hibiscus, Paros Family Taverna), lovely beaches- Krios is great for kids (fab taverna, clean beach, new clean toilets) and has free sunloungers. If you... More >
Magnificent village in the mountains. No view to the sea but to the wild landscape of Paros. I loved the white houses and the arched streets. I also loved the grandmas who were watering the gardens and the grandpas playing cards in the square. Have a Greek coffee on the pot in the square under the... More >
My husband is a great culture lover and he insisted on going to the church of Panagia Ekatontapiliani, the main church of Paros obviously. This is a beautiful monastery and it actually has five smaller churches. We saw nice things from older times in this monastery complex in Parikia, the capital... More >

You cannot visit Paros and not even pass by Naoussa. Naoussa is a beautiful village, located on a huge bay, in northern Paros. As you can easily understand from the hundreds of boats at the bay, this is a fishing place.
Wherever you go in Naoussa, bay, narrow streets, churches, beach, still... More >

Aliki is not actually a village, it is a tourist hamlet with many hotels and taverns in the seaside. We rented our hotel there because it is closer to the airport, although it is quite far from the other beaches and villages.
Transportation in the daytime is good, but buses stop in the evening,... More >

Do not have any doubt that Naoussa is the best village on Paros. Parikia, the capital, is also fine but it gets too noisy sometimes. But Naoussa gives another sense: more picturesque, more sophisticated, more vivid with the bars around the small port. I honestly adored this village, it has a secret... More >
We spent our week in Aliki.. lovely small village with great central beaches and small outdoor pubs. We loved exploring the nooks and crannies of the village. Although small, Aliki has a wonderful selection of great seafood restaurants which sit on (literally) the fishing boats so one can watch the... More >
Naoussa was spectacular

Village of Naoussa was spectacular, beaches were lovely on the island, nightlife was quite hard to find, didn't find any nightclubs in fact. Aqualand was fantastic. Taxis were not freely avail and to get back to our hotel was always a hassle. So I recommend that you bring your driving licence as we... More >
