From this little port, daily trips for Naxos, Ios, Santorini and Amorgos are organized regularly.
South of Piso Livadi one can found many superb beaches as the Golden Beach, considered as one of the best spots in the Mediterranean for slalom windsurfing.
The big religious festivity of this little resort is the celebration of the Ascension Day, during which many happenings are organized and sea food and wine are served to the participants.

You descend a nice tree lined avenue into the village. There are numerous hotels on either side of the road. At the bottom you will find a pleasant harbour with several restaurants. You can hire cars here and there is a mini market.
Some of Piso Livaldi shows good examples of Cycladic architecture but the level of development in the area spoils it somewhat. A visit here could be nice but don’t expect an unspoiled village. |
