• How can I get to my hotel from the airport?

KTEL Buses connect the airport of Paros to many locations on the island. All bus routes that start from the airport head to Parikia. From Parikia, you can board a bus to almost any location on the island, so getting to your accommodation by bus is possible.
Alternatively, you can take a taxi from the taxi rank outside the airport's exit gate, but keep in mind that the cabs are limited. It is recommended not to rely on them if you plan on visiting Paros during the high season unless you have booked a taxi beforehand.
The most convenient way to reach your hotel after landing on the island is a rental car. There are two car rental desks within the airport's premises, but you can arrange your car rental in advance in order to save time and book the ideal vehicle for you.
Lastly, some accommodations offer a shuttle service to their customers. Make sure to contact your hotel prior to your arrival.

• How can I get to my hotel from the port?

The central bus station lies near the main port of Paros in Parikia. Buses departing from there approach most touristy villages and beaches on the island. Itineraries are more frequent during summer to serve the thousands of travelers. If your accommodation is located in a touristy location, like Naoussa, Santa Maria, Drios, or Golden Beach, you can get to your hotel by bus. We recommend buying your ticket from the ticket booth at the bus station since it may be possible to purchase your ticket after boarding the bus, but that comes with an additional fee.
A taxi rank lies outside the port, too. There's a fair number of cabs available in Paros, but booking a transfer service or renting a car in advance is strongly recommended if you plan on visiting the island during the high season. A car rental agent can bring your vehicle of choice to the port upon request so that you can take it immediately.
Lastly, some accommodations offer a shuttle service to their customers. Make sure to contact your hotel prior to your arrival.

• How can I get to Naoussa?

Naoussa is most guests' favorite area due to its vivid nightlife and quaint charming architecture. Bus routes from Parikia to Naoussa are frequent, especially during the high season. Not all districts are accessible by car, so you need to park your vehicle in the village's vicinity. Encountering traffic congestion during the high season is unsurprisable, so if your accommodation is situated outside Naoussa, consider taking a bus.

• How can I get to the beaches?

Renting a car will allow you to explore numerous charming beaches, both well-organized and remote. If you are only interested in visiting the popular beaches, frequent bus routes approach them throughout the day. Taxis are another transportation option, but it is advised to contact a taxi driver in advance if you travel to Paros in the summer.
A fun and alternative way to visit some beautiful beaches is by taking a sea bus from Parikia. It approaches the beaches of Krios, Kolympithres, Marchello, Monastiri, Langeri and Santa Maria, with its itineraries being frequent throughout summer.

• Can I rely on public means of transport?

You can reach several areas via public transport and itineraries are frequent during the high season, while the buses are in good condition. However, if you look forward to exploring the island and visiting less-touristy villages and beaches, renting a car is probably your only choice. Book your car with us!

• Are the distances between the main town and the touristy spots long?

Paros is a medium-sized island, which means that going from one region to another won't be time-consuming. Keep in mind, though, that thousands of people visit Paros in summer, so the roads in the most touristy areas may get bulging with vehicles.
