Paros Pounda 01 Pounda Paros: Pounda Beach is one of the most famous and most crowded beaches of Paros and reminds of the Paradise Beach in Mykonos.

It is a fully organized beach located 2 kilometres from Logaras (south-east of Parikia) which offers a big touristy complex with many touristy facilities such as swimming pools, restaurants, bars, shops, sea sports facilities, Bungee Jumping, etc..
 
Most of the visitors are going to Pounda for its many facilities and for its loud music and its endless parties. To get to the beach itself you enter a large bar/shop/dance area complete with swimming pools. If you want to use the loungers then you are expected to buy a drink from one of the bars behind them. The beach itself is quite straight and about 250m long.

Pounda Beach can be reaches by asphalted road, by local buses of private transportation.

Our Impressions:
Pounda is a nice enough beach but be prepared for loud music and in the high season a ‘pumping’ atmosphere.

- Where to eat/drink:There are at least two major bars
- Shops/Minimarket:There are jewelry shops and you can also buy beachwear etc
- Telephone: In the main complex
- Transportation:There is a sizeable car park and many buses arrive here
- Beach Activities: None (in June)
