Paros Events

An initiative by Nancy Goldenberg, an American born pianist, who has adopted Paros as her home, the Paros Classical Music Festival is a wonderful endeavor. Nancy is not only the founder but is also the artistic director of the venture, which aims at bringing renowned artists to Paros, and give locals as well as visiting tourists an opportunity to experience the best in music.
A true treat for music lovers, it seems the tireless efforts of locals as well as foreigners who now call Paros home, has finally paid off. The festival is steadily gaining popularity and this year will see four extremely special evenings, featuring some of the world¢s best talents. The festival this year will held in the island¢s capital, Parikia, at the Archilochos Cultural center, which in itself is an active participant in promoting culture on Paros and is extremely popular. Starting from June 21st and carrying on till September 20th, this year¢s festival hopes to be one of the best, with four spectacular performances lined up for its visitors.
